    SP Trains Return Policy

    Unopened, Factory Sealed Items
    You may return new, unopened items sold within 10 days of delivery for a full refund. Items should be returned in their original packaging.

    Opened Items (Factory Seal Broken)
    Items that have been opened will be charged a 15% restocking fee.

    Items Requiring Assembly (Buildings, Scenery, Rolling Stock, etc.)
    Once a kit has been opened, we are no longer able to accept it for return. If you are missing a piece, or have questins related to the assembly, please contact the manufacturer.

    Train Sets
    Due to the seasonal nature of these items, train sets can be returned within 10 days for the same item only, or SPTrains credit.

    When will I receive my refund?
    You should expect to receive your refund within two to four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your return from the shipper (5 to 10 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 to 5 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days). We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.

    Exchanges
    Exchanges can be made within 10 days of purchase. If you received a faulty item and need to exchange it for the same item, click Return an Item to request a replacement. Items that are deffective after this time should be returned to the manufacturer for warranty service.

    Please note that it takes us 3 to 5 business days to process returns once they arrive at our StonePlow Refund Center .

    In-Store Returns
    At this time, items purchased from SPTrains.com cannot be returned to one of our retail locations.
